A post card from Japan by Waheed Ahmed 9SW | ||
Hi Mum I’m missing you a lot, so to get my mind off things I usually go skiing. Although, I have come to the end of my journey. I started off in the tropical towns in the south of Japan, on an Island called Kyushu. The beaches are to die for! After I had looked around, I boarded the Shinkansen, otherwise known as the bullet train. The Shinkansen dropped me off on the historic Island of Shikoku. On this gorgeous island I saw the Mura open air museum which gave me a taste of how life used to be in Japan. Did you know that the runway for the Matsuyama airport is in the sea! Then I once again I boarded the thrilling Bullet train which dropped me off in the busiest place in Japan., yes its Tokyo. Tokyo is situated on the island of Honshu. Did you also know that Japan is the second leading industrial state In the world? My favorite part in Japan has got to be Mt. Fuji. The feeling that it could erupt at any second is terrific. After that I moved to Hokkaido where I am now. Got to go Mum I’m late for my skiing in Asahikawa. Bye MOMMY!!!
